What a lovely find. The whole experience was a lovely afternoon. Lots of close parking to the venue made it easy for 2 car s to park with ease. Entry was quick with sign in to the venue being easy. The restaurant was lovely. Whilst many tables were full, we were still able to hear everyone talking. The service was excellent. Food was well presented and tasted lovely with a wide variety to choose from. Overall a very lovely experience!

Lovely RSL, situated in en Waverley. Display cabinet of memorabilia to purchase. Pokies et el on site. Friendly and helpful staff. Good bar & beer on tap. Daily specials. Reservations recommended (kitchen closes at 830)

We had lunch recently with a group of seven. Sadly two of us had to eat and run due to work commitments. 10/10 to our lovely waiter and the kitchen, we were fed (2 courses and coffee) and ready to go in 40 minutes, while the rest of the table ordered and ate at their leisure. Seniors menu offers generous serves at bargain prices, roast of the day was a big hit. I took a star off for the bit of plastic in my dessert, but that's being picky - we enjoyed our meal. Busy restaurant but we had a great table near the window and felt as if we were sitting in a garden. Bonus points for bill splitting! This venue is popular but I'd say it's a bit underrated, the level of service is well above most places I visit. Well done all and hope to see you again soon.

Our family had a lovely dinner here. Their paella is the best around and all the kids were happy with their meals as well (pork ribs and burgers). The bread rolls were first class. The restaurant is usually pretty busy so it is not quiet but much more enjoyable than many others. The service was very friendly and quick. It is nice to come early and have some drinks before the dinner. Parking might be challenging especially now because there is so much construction around Glen Waverley downtown. Definitely book ahead. We will be back - thank you for the yummy food!

Great meals and amazing service by the staff. I went at lunch time and the place was jam packed. Lucky we had a booking, so I suggest booking ahead if you can. The problem with being so full is that it was quite noisy during the lunch period and hard to hear others at our table. Once the rush was over it quietened down and was very pleasant.

Slightly upscale rsl with table service and complimentary bread rolls. Food was as you would expect from any average rsl. Definitely caters well for seniors with lots of senior specials.. and staff telling us to keep it down.. fair enough, don’t want to spoil the retirement village vibe.

Our expectations were exceeded when we dined at Waverley RSL's Warramunga Restaurant. Great ambience, impeccable service and excellent food and beverages. A nice experience all round!

Seeing it is always so very busy, decided to try it Monday - $22 Seafood Complimentary bread roll and butter. Ordered Grilled Barramundi with Vegetables and Chips. Was meant to come with Hollandaise sauce but it came with Tartare Sauce. The fish was over cooked and dry. Some of the chips were hard, although some were light and crispy. Also ordered the Panko Crumbed Calamari with Chips and Salad. The calamari was surprisingly plump and tender and the coating was very light. The salad was a little small with standard pub fare Italian dressing and a heap of chips, again some were light and crispy but some were hard. The aioli and a wedge of lemon were good accompaniments. Service was friendly and food was prompt. Serves were well portioned.
